OCT 2015 - Excited to have joined Bell Studio Gallery with several other artists. Great Studio Gallery on Old South Pearl Street in Denver Colorado.
MAY 2015 - Colorado Ballet Show hanging from May 11th thru August 30th at the New Armstong Center for Dance located at the north end of Denver’s Art District at 1075 E. Santa Fe. The show depicts the mountains of the west. All pieces are for sale, with 50% of the proceeds going to the Colorado Ballet, the remainder to the Artist.
Two larger landscapes of mine were accepted in the show: Fox Creek at Prospector Mountain and Chama River.

Summer's Come and Gone....
And here we are on the verge of Fall....I've been to Nepal and back - recently broke my elbow and experienced painting with my left arm - still I am working hard at my craft. I have many new pieces available. If you like my interpretations of life all around - let me know. Drop an email, inquire, ask for information. Oil painting is a wonderfully colorful medium - and art on your walls should change regularly! At least move the pieces you have around. It's like seeing the world in a new way, or going on a vacation and coming back refreshed. This piece is small - roughly 5x5" - it represents our breakfasts in Nepal each morning.

Denver Square Foot
Show begins November 18th thru December 31st with the Opening Reception Friday December 6th from 5-8pm at the Big Purple Box at 1705 S. Pearl Street. The show is hanging at the Big Purple Box, Susan Bell Gallery and Stella's. This Charity event is unique in that it provides wool socks for Denver's homeless, and hay for Colorado hungry horses. Come on over to S. Pearl !
CHERRY HILLS LAND PRESERVE - OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION
This 3rd annual community event benefits Open Space Preservation in Cherry Hills Village, Arapahoe County, and along the Highline Canal. The event is being held at The Rady Barn, Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th. ART FAIR JACKSON HOLE 2013
Exciting news ! I was accepted into the juried Art Fair Jackson - held July 19, 20, 21st, 2013. This art fair is held in Miller's Park, rain or shine in the beautiful, western town of Jackson, Wyoming.
Looking forward to this great fun summer-time event! Be sure to stop by our booth - Jenny Jelinek - if you are in town. I will have new oil paintings available, many different sizes.
WEEKEND in the WEST ~ Evergreen Fine Art 2013
Evergreen Fine Art 's annual Weekend in the West Art Show and Auction is June 21 & 22. The Gala Western Style Opening for the art show & sale is Friday, June 21st 5-8pm. On Saturday June 22nd, a Quickdraw event followed by a live auction.
The first 12 x 12 oil painting was completed this past winter. A complicated mass of reeds, and grasses and the creek flowing towards Cherry Creek Reservoir. I loved the play of warm and cool colors, the cat-tails bursting and the blue reflections from Colorado's sky.
RF's Red Door is cryptically titled. The red rusty door against the blueness of the old building caught my eye, as well as the stairs leading upwards - to where and to what within? It is also 12x12, on wood panel.
Both of these pieces will be available, and can also be seen in Southwest Art Magazine's June issue.
FEBRUARY 2013 - A Time for Outings and Pleine Air Painting
Have been venturing out into the wild wilderness of Colorado to enjoy some winter outdoor painting. Its been exhilerating, cold, and an excellent exercise in technique! Need to do more!
I have also been working on entries for Summer Art Fairs - so we'll see where that all leads in 2013

Weekend in the West at Evergreen Fine Art August 2012
More Cherries! Great weekend spent in Evergreen Colorado at Evergreen Fine Art Gallery who hosted the Weekend in the West Show, on exhibit August 23rd thru September. The event was kicked off with a Friday reception and Saturday the artist's participated in an hour and a half Quick Draw. All works are available at Evergreen Fine Art, and a portion of each sale goes to the Evergreen Art District for children's art programs K-12. The Three Cherries 3.5x4 mini was done from life on Saturday morning. Enjoy!!
OPA JUNE 2012
Oil Painters of America, 2012 National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils - I was excited to get this recognition from the OPA. The national show is conveniently being held this year in Evergreen Colorado at Evergreen Fine Art, June 22- July 21st. While this painting is small (3"x3.5"), it was completed on a baltic birch panel and sealed with an oil-based primer. Still yet, the panel was then treated with a coat of ivory black and red paints. I layered the cherries atop. The name of the painting is "Who's paying attention?" and was sold at the show's opening night. APRIL 2015 -
I have joined an exciting new gallery - the Colorado Mountain Art Gallery in Georgetown, Colorado. Visiting Georgetown is a memorable experience - as both history and art dwell in the heart of the Rocky Mountains! An easy exit off I70, art of all kinds are produced by Colorado Artists.
FEBRUARY 2018 - Well, change is always good for the soul! I enjoyed a year or more with wonderful artists at Georgetown and then more time with artists in Evergreen. Since spending more time in Montana made more sense, I have let go of my commitments with these good folks.
Free-lancing and enjoying more time to focus on painting and creating! I did support ARTMA 2018 and attended the wonderful fund-raising event at the Evan Scholar Mansion.
Very much looking forward to the August 2018 Pleine Air on the Yellowstone in Livingston Montana!
